Oh No Mo, Bank of America is not the Laugh Factory
I just love BL Ochman’s analysis of Bank of America’s attempt at original video for today’s hip new media consumer:
“I want adults in suits to take my money seriously. They should be polite and friendly, but they sure don’t need to be funny. I want my bank open late and on weekends, and I want free checking and quick access to my deposits. Dog biscuits for Benny Bix are a nice touch too, but skip the clowns and comedians.”
There should be a place where we collect all of these terrible examples of big corporations’ early attempts to “play” in this new marketplace. Years from now we can take our grandchildren to that site and show them just what life was like before GoogoSoftaHoo&Gamble implanted the adverfeeds directly into our brains.
